Journeys into Justice is a book about collaborative interfaith movements that have been successful. Interfaith movements in the U.S. have bridged the differences and brought together Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faith communities over the years to work for greater social justice. Often in the face of great opposition, interfaith movements come together to create aggregated people power focused on protest and positive solutions with sufficient force to achieve paradigm shifts and new social/economic arrangements of lasting value for the common good.

Interfaith movements that unite diverse religious groups have played a major role in ending slavery, promoting worker justice, providing education for marginalized people, building hospitals, empowering the civil rights movement, extending voting rights, creating affordable housing, feeding the hungry, ending wars, and building peace.
